Brand Strategy and Website Development
Drew and Jayne Woolcott run the most successful Real Estate office in the area. While building a successful business and becoming household names, they have outgrown their initial approach to branding.
The Woolcott’s have had a growing staff of agents and needed to re-align their brand image.
We have designed a new look that simply emphasizes their name, with keywords such as: established, trusted, professional, corporate.
The new marketing design does 3 things:
- brings together a broad range of materials, with 15 newly designed pieces such as: flyers, promotional material, business cards, signage and website.
- intentionally departs from the traditional “celebrity-based” branding and simply emphasizes WOOLCOTT as both the brand image and the general brand experience.
- delivers a higher-level corporate image and will allow for more flexibility in terms of the stages of their business.

Rascals Dog Training
Website Development
Rascals Dog Training is a relatively new business based in Ottawa. Rachel Armstrong is the lead trainer at www.rascalsdogtraining.com and was in need of a professional website setup. It is always important to keep a website up-to-date, so 5D provided her with a fully customizable site. Using our own Contant Management System, Rachel can login and edit all of the feilds in the various areas of the site.

Top Notch Training
Brand & Website Overview:
Top Notch Training Realty Inc. is a Real Estate training business, providing seminar and consulting services throughout southern Ontario. Rick Shelley had been working for a number of years without a website and realized that is was time to get his business online.
The new website: TnTRealty.ca provides the business with a connection point for clients to get information on TNT services. The site also advertises various listings that the firm is representing.
The theme’s keywords are simply “solid, established” and the logo is dressed to reflect the sport analogies used in the training seminars. Logo Concept: C. Shelley.

The goal of the website is to present the care and personal attention that every customer receives. The overall layout and webdesign is meant to give a modern and comfortable feel. Synergy Power Inc.
Brand & Website Overview:
Based in the Great Toronto Area, Synergy Power Inc. recently obtained the exclusive Canadian distribution rights for their Solar Panel Products. They came to the table looking to establish their Brand Image and a clean entry to the web. This new startup company wanted to stand out amongst the sea of ‘happy little solar panel sites’, which are scattered like dandelions all over the web.
Synergy Power is in the renewable energy industry and here you will see that the typical presentation trends are ‘light & blue’, often ‘airy’ and of course ‘Green’ (along with the shovel load of associations that word now carries). We took another path and rooted the design in the product, which is really a technological wonder, a precision tool and a space-age device.
Without discarding the green, the design directives were: ‘Technologically superior’ and professionally speaking: ‘Approachable-corporate’.

Capital Leaf AD CARD
Overview:
Print Card with IMPACT. Capital Leaf provides computer repair services in the Ottawa area. Their current promotion targets University Students. With some fun custom photography from Jason Matos, we were able to bring the "Blue-Screen-of-Death-Guy to life. The rear of the card reflects the service provided by presenting a sense of 'relief', in contrast to our wire-haired friend on the cover.
YSM Presentation Materials
Overview:
CORE VALUES POSTER: Inspired by 'ground-level' works by groups such as "Plain Speak" (www.plainspeak.ca), we developed a graphic strategy and engaged the heart of these directives. With simple, genuine illustration and a thematic 'heart' element, artist Dany Gehshan (www.dany-art.com) and 5D Creative Director Graham Paulsen produced a YSM Core Values Poster. STILL CHRISTMAS Series
Overview:
Glad Tidings Burlington Christmas 2009 theme. STILL CHRISTMAS is a sermon series looking at the various forms and biblical uses of the word ‘STILL’. This campaign is especially focusing on how 'STILL' pertains to people's lives during this holiday season. Working closely with this mandate, 5D has developed a set of graphic pieces to compliment the STILL theme (in print, video & projection slides). (See the NEWS for more info)
24/7 CHURCH
Overview:
For a few years, 24/7 Church has been online with a flash site that had served them well. We were
approached by Pastor Kip to help them develop a site with increased connectivity and features that are
more manageable. Flash sites are typically more hard-wired and making updates can be like asking your car
dealer to rebuild your engine.
The new site is a prime example of our current approach to site design: "the hybrid site". go247.ca contains elements of flash embedded in solid search-engine-friendly code. With a custom php driven Content Management System, the 24/7 Team can now hop on the net and make
changes from anywhere — at anytime (laptop, Blackberry, iPhone)!

"Hello Gorgeous!!" is a Professional Hair Salon located in the heart of Waterdown, Ontario. The Hello Gorgeous team is energetic and always on the move! Lead stylist and owner, Brenda, recruited us for her new website, which is professional and has broad appeal.

Annidis Health Systems - The design theme for the site is a fusion of “minimalist layout” and “medical documentation”. We've also pumped in some flash elements customized to showcase their main product features.
Kingston Gospel Temple
Overview:
Church website - We built a completely new website from scratch for this busy church in Kingston. We boiled down all the information into three main sections keeping all the info easily accessible and smart-phone friendly. Features integrated: special events line up is built into an JavaScript accordion viewer, Google maps, Google calendar, PDF downloads and Online Giving through Paypal.
